1. Who we are

2. Accepting these terms

By visiting the website, placing an order or downloading a file, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Refund and Cancellation Policy and our Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law.

4. Products and pricing

  • All products are digital. No physical item is shipped.
  • All prices are in US dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
  • We may change prices, offers or the catalogue at any time. The price shown when you place the order is the price you pay.
  • We try to describe every book accurately. Page counts, cover images and sample content may differ slightly from the final file.

5. Orders and payment

An order is confirmed only after your payment is successfully received. Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway (PayPal) using PayPal or a credit or debit card. We do not see or store your card number, CVV or PayPal password.

We may cancel an order and refund the amount if we suspect fraud, if a price was listed by mistake, or if the payment cannot be verified.

6. Delivery

After a successful payment, download links are sent to the email address you entered at checkout and shown on the order confirmation page. See the Delivery Policy for details.

7. Licence and permitted use

When you buy an ebook, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices. You may keep the file permanently and make a private backup copy.

You may not:

  • resell, share, upload, post or distribute the files, in whole or in part;
  • remove watermarks, copyright notices or buyer information from the files;
  • copy the content to create a competing product, course or compilation;
  • use the website to send spam, malware or anything unlawful.

If we find unauthorised sharing, we may disable your download links and take legal action where the law allows.

8. Intellectual property

All books, text, graphics, logos, and the design of this website belong to Ebookly or its authors and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws. Buying an ebook does not transfer any ownership of the content to you.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Disclaimer

Our books are written for education and information. They are not professional financial, legal, medical or investment advice. Any results you achieve depend on your own actions and circumstances, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ebookly will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or the ebooks. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the ebook concerned.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Patna, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the new terms.
